Jason was very friendly and helpful in attending to our last-minute request.

From £72 per nightWe stayed for 2 nights at the Riverside while exploring the Port Stephens area. Lisa was very friendly and informative about where to go and what to see. There's a small shop opposite the hotel and the room has a fridge, microwave and kettle so we had all we needed for breakfast which we ate in the sunshine at the table and chairs on the small patio outside our room. The water pressure was great and the bed was very comfortable. I really recommend a stay here.

It was the most relaxing stay of our two-month trip to Australia and New Zealand. Spacious, comfortable, clean, it was a good value for the money. Free breakfast was a nice touch. We also enjoyed a tour of the sanctuary.
